Air ambulance scrambled to scene of serious crash in Co Derry
The crash happened outside the Ponderosa bar.
As a result the road is closed in both directions.
There are long delays in the area as emergency services tend to the injured.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “We would advise motorists to avoid the area if possible. Delays possible.
“The road is currently closed in both directions.
“Police, ambulance and Air Ambulance are in attendance.”
