Always a popular event in the Hallowe’en calender, the Dark Tower will be back for one night only this Friday, October 25, at the Tower Museum from 8 pm-11 pm.
The event is open to strictly over-18’s only, so you can let loose for the night and kick off a week of Hallowe’en celebrations in style.
There will be plenty on offer as you drink, draw and discover our haunted tower in all its dark and mysterious glory.
There will be a live sketching event taking place across three separate areas of the museum.
If you’ve ever doodled on a beer mat, on a work call, or on your school desk – this is for you. You can grab a drink from one of the bars, get sketching, and see your creations on the big screen.
The Haunted House Experience will give you the fright of your life – and you could be the very first to undergo such a scare in this brand new addition.
You can roam the floors of the museum, each with its own soundtrack and strange inhabitants that will send a tingle up your spine.
And make sure that you’re doing it all in scary style. Bring your Halloween costume A-game and have a bit of craic with friends in a quirky setting – with a free beer on arrival!
Tickets for the Dark Tower cost £10 and are available from Eventbrite through the Derry Hallowe’en website.
The Derry Halloween festival was voted Best International Experience at the NI Tourism Awards and will run from Saturday October 26th until Friday November 1st and this year’s theme is The Other World Awakens.
Highlights include the Awakening the Walls trail around the city centre, a Carnival Parade, the Legenderry Halloween food event and of course the fireworks finale.
