POLICE in Derry are on the trail of thieves who broke into a business premise in the city
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a burglary at business premises in Hillview Avenue in the Prehen area of the city.
Police say that sometime between 5.30 pm on Sunday, October 20. and 12 midday yesterday, Tuesday, October 22, thieves entered the premises.
During the break-in, a number of items were stolen, including a SIP ST180 Welder, a 2008 Carrera Mountain Bike with a white wheel frame and two Black & Decker drills.
In follow-up inquiries, the motorcycle was recovered.
Police are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information about this incident or have been offered the items for sale to contact police at Strand Road on the 101 number.
