POLICE in Derry are on the trail of two burglars who broke into a house in the Abbeydale area of the city at the weekend.
The break-in at the property happened sometime between 12.15 pm and 8.00 pm on Saturday, October 26.
A number of rooms in the house were ransacked while several and cupboards and drawers searched.
It is not believed that anything was stolen as a result of the burglary.
Two males were disturbed close to the house by a neighbour sometime between 7 pm and 8 pm and detectives are working to establish if they were involved.
Detectives at Strand Road are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has information about this incident to contact them on the 101 number, quoting reference 1536 26/10/19.
