DETECTIVES seized drugs and arrested a 32-year-old man following searches in Co Derry yesterday, Tuesday, October 29.
The searches, which included properties in Roe Mill Road and Aghanloo areas, were part of a focused operation on drugs, say the PSNI.
Suspected Class A and prescription drugs were among items seized.
The 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including possession of class A and C drugs with intent to supply.
He has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Peter McKenna said: “Tackling the sale and supply of illegal and dangerous drugs is a priority.
“We know the harm they cause in communities and we are committed to working with the public and partner agencies to disrupt supply chains and put dealers before the courts.
“Support and information from the public is vital in terms of where and how we focus our operations.
“I would encourage anyone with information to contact us so we can make our community safer for everyone.”
