Suspect remanded in custody at Derry courthouse over police drugs bust
The arrest and seizure operation took place in the Strathfoyle area of Waterside on Thursday, November 14.
The suspect subsequently faced Derry Magistrates’ Court where a district judge remanded him in custody.
An officer writing on PSNI Foyle’s Facebook page said:
“Local Policing Team 5 managed to follow their noses and gut instinct yet again.
“I’ll not bore you with the details but here is the short version…
✅ Police on patrol in Strathfoyle in Waterside yesterday.
✅ seized quite a number of drugs
✅ charged to court with the help of DST (District Support Team)
✅ remanded
“That’s more drugs off the streets,” the officer added.
