POLICE in Derry seized a car dangerous uninsured car as part of a festive road safety exercise.
PSNI Foyle say on its Facebook page: “Officers from Foyleside Neighbourhood Policing Team are taking part in Op Roadsafe today.
“As a result, we have just stopped this uninsured vehicle.
“The vehicle has been seized.
“The driver will be issued with an Endorsable Fixed Penalty Notice which is a £200 fine and six penalty points on their driving licence.
“They will also have to pay a fee to get their vehicle back.”
