POLICE in Derry are reminding everyone to ensure all doors and windows are locked and secured especially in the run to the Christmas period.
A police spokesperson said: “We have received a number of calls in recent days about strangers trying door handles.
“Let’s keep those presents under the tree and keep burglars locked out!”
And don’t leave valuable presents on display in cars while out shopping.
Put them out of sight in the boot.
