THE brilliant nurses at Altnagelvin Hospital helped deliver a little bundle of joy into the world on Christmas Day.
While we were all tucking into our Christmas turkey and trimmings, the maternity staff were on hand to make sure Jax was delivered safety into the world.
The hospital staff posted on Western Trust’s Facebook page: “We were delighted to welcome Jax David Thomas to the world.
“Jax, from Derry, was the first Christmas Day baby to be born at Altnagelvin Hospital
“He came into the world at 3:16 pm and weighing 8lb 9oz.
“Jax is pictured with his family and our wonderful midwives.”
Congratulations to the parents on their baby son and a massive well done to the staff who gave up their Christmas Day to make sure mummy and son were safe and well looked after.
