DERRY City and Strabane District Council is advisin the public that its services and amenities remain closed today, Sunday, February 9.
It is as a result of Storm Ciara with a yellow weather warning in place today for Derry and the North West for gusting winds and heavy rain.
Derry and Strabane Council tweeted today: “A reminder that all our parks, play parks and cemeteries remain closed today.
“Brooke Park Leisure Centre is also closed.
“Please be mindful of the weather warnings & take note of the emergency numbers should you need them.”
The Met Office said its wind warning for the North of Ireland remains in place until just before midnight on Sunday.
The rain warning is in place until 12 midday Sunday.
