A MAN being hunted by police over a spate of shoplifting incidents in Derry and Strabane has been arrested by Gardai in Co Donegal.
The man was apprehended in The Elms housing estate and a quantity of property recovered.
PSNI Foyle say: “Local Policing Team 5 were investigating a shoplifter who was offending in both Derry and Strabane areas today.
“Thankfully our colleagues in the An Gardai Siochana apprehended this male in the Letterkenny area.
“This is a great display of joint policing by ourselves and AGS.”
The man is expected to appear at a future sitting of Letterkenny court.
