SINN Féin in Derry has announced that their Foyle constituency services will be changing and adapting due to the deterioration of the situation concerning the Coronavirus.
Sinn Féin Foyle MLA Karen Mullan said: “As our party leader Mary Lou McDonald has said over the last number of days the situation regarding the Coronavirus has deteriorated further and there are increasing numbers of confirmed cases daily.
“Our first priority must be the health of the wider community in Derry and across the island of Ireland.
“With this in mind our constituency services will be changing and adapting due to the deterioration of the situation concerning the Coronavirus.
“In the interests of public safety our offices will work on an appointment basis only, with contact or queries being made via the following number 028 71 377 551 (Ráth Mór).
“Constituency clinics will be conducted via phone and e-mail.
“All of our elected representatives can also be contacted through social media.
“This is going to be a very challenging period and we all need to pull together to get through it.
“It’s important that we all think about and look out for our family, friends and neighbours in these times.
“And it also important that people are responsible and not getting caught up in panic buying which is putting unnecessary pressures on local shops, shop workers and people who cant afford to buy in bulk.”
