Speaking after this afternoon’s Derry City and Strabane District Council briefing on COVID-19, Cllr Reilly said:
“This is the third such emergency briefing we have had in recent days.
“I want to thank Council offers for their diligence and commitment to ensuring that Council services can continue in these difficult and stressing times.
“Council is making arrangements to continue to provide our vital services in a way that keeps our staff safe and minimises disruption to the public.
“Buildings on previous decisions last week to close public buildings, the impact of Coronavirus on collections, cemetery operations, key council projects and how council formally conducts it’s business will continue to be closely monitored and people should follow the Council website and it’s social media channels for updates.”
