Said Cllr Cooper: “It appears that a number of venues are refusing to refund customers despite it being clear that the reason for the cancellations are down to fears of attending large scale events due to Covid-19.
“Given these unique circumstances I am calling on these venues to show social responsibility and consider providing refunds to customers.
“Additionally. I would ask patrons who are unsure of where they stand to ask for a copy of the venue’s cancellations policy.”
