Said the Foyle MP: “I strongly condemn this shooting of a man in his 30s in Magowan Park in Creggan.
“There is no place for attacks like this in our society.
“This comes at a time when our medical staff are already under intense pressure dealing with a public health pandemic.
“Those responsible need to get off the backs of the people of Derry.”
The injured man was later to Altnagelin Hospital for treatment to his injuries
