A SECOND employee at a Derry call centre has been diagnosed with Covid-19.
Earlier, financial services company Computershare said almost all staff are now working from home after a colleague tested positive for Coronavirus.
A second employee has also tested positive, the company says.
“The thoughts of everyone are with both affected employees and their families at this difficult time,” the company says.
Computershare added the second employee “had not been in our offices since March 6, having felt unwell while on holiday”.
It employs about 300 staff in the city and the firm says less than 10% of those are now office based.
There are now 24 recorded cases across Derry City and Strabane District Council area.
On Monday, Owen Mor care home on Derry’s Culmore Road confirmed that six residents had tested positive for COVID-19.
The home said the patients had now been isolated so as to prevent the further spread to other residents.
