THE number of Coronavirus-related deaths in the North of Ireland now stands at 92.
That’s an increase of ten from Thursday.
The Public Health Agency (PHA) daily bulletin on Covid-19 cases shows a total of 112 new cases reported since yesterday.
The number of confirmed cases here now stands at 1,589 from a total off 11,006 people who have been tested so far.
There has been one confirmed death so far in Derry.
A resident died at the Owen Mor care home on the city’s Culmore Road where a further five patients had also tested positive for COVID-19.
So far there have been 52 confirmed cases of the deadly virus in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area.
Across the UK, the total number of people to have died since Thursday jumped by 953 with the total now at 8,931.
There were a further 866 in England and 77 between Wales and Scotland.
