Coronavirus: 15 more people die in North as COVID-19 death toll hits double figures

THE Public Health Agency has confirmed that another 15 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died in THE North of Ireland.

It is the highest daily death toll so far and brings the total number of deaths here since the outbreak began to 107.

A further 128 positive cases have also been confirmed in the daily update, meaning 1,717 people have been infected here in total.

A total of 11,765 people have been so far tested.

There has so far been one confirmed death in Derry.

A resident at Owen Mor care home on the city’s Culmore Road died almost two weeks ago.

A further five patients at the home had also tested positive.
