Public Health Agency has confirmed that a further ten people diagnosed with Coronavirus have sadly died in hospital in the North of Ireland.
The latest figures bring the number of hospital deaths here to 134.
A further 85 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total positive cases to 1,967.
The figures are correct as of 11 am today, April 14.
There is still no precise data on to how many people have sadly died at home or in residential care homes.
A total of 32 care homes in the North of Ireland have been affected by Covid-19, the NI health minister has confirmed.
That is an increase on last’s week’s figure of 20.
There are 484 care homes here with a total of 16,000 beds.
Minister Swann said all deaths including those in the community were being recorded.
The daily PHA figure only covers deaths in hospital.
Mr Swann said the NI Statistical Research Agency would provide complete figures in due course but there was a delay in getting deaths outside hospitals into the NISRA statistics.
There has been one confirmed death at a care home in Derry.
A patient at Owen Mor car home on the city’s Culmore Road died from Coronavirus last month.
A further five residents at the home also tested positive for COVID-19.
