THE Department of Health has reported that there has been a further six deaths related to COVID-19 in the North of Ireland.
It takes their total, mostly comprising of hospital deaths, to 387.
Five of the deaths happened since Sunday.
The statistics also show there are currently 723 Covid-19 patients in hospitals here
To date 3,829 people have been discharged from hospital.
Thirty-one patients are being treated in intensive care as of midnight on Sunday, May 3.
There have been 3,836 laboratory confirmed cases of the virus in the North of Ireland.
These figures are one of two sets published here.
The other are weekly statistics from statistics agency Nisra, which cover all deaths where coronavirus has been recorded on the death certificate.
By 24 April, Nisra had recorded 393 Covid-19 related deaths here.
Nisra will give a further update this Friday on the death toll up to Friday, May 1.
It was revealed last week that there have been 20 deaths from COVID-19 in the Derry City and Strabane District Council district so far.
