THIS week is Mental Health Awareness Week.
The theme is #KindnessMatters and building a kinder society that would support our mental health.
As well as being kind to others, it is also important to be kind to yourself.
Action Mental Health have developed a bitesize online session aimed at parents and carers based on their Healthy Me programme, which will provide you with tips on how to be ‘kind’ to yourselves as well as directing you to further support should you need it.

Foyle Search and Rescue is supporting Mental Health Awareness Week.
It says: “This lockdown crisis has certainly brought out the best in people, the many acts of kindness that are being shared are heart warming.
“On a personal level we have felt incredibly blessed to be part of such a wonderful, caring community.
“This City truly blows us away with the acts of kindness it show to others.
“However, so many people have found this recent lockdown situation very difficult; in isolation, struggling with loneliness and anxious about their own health and the health of loved ones.
“Now more than ever it is important that we reach out to each other, a phone call, a message, helping each other out.
“We need to work together.
“If you are struggling please don’t do it alone reach out:
