THE Department of Health has reported that one further death related to Covid-19 has been recorded in the North of Ireland.
It brings the total number of deaths to 537, as of 10 am today, Saturday, June 6.
Fourteen more people tested positive for the virus, bringing the total number of cases up to 4,790.
The department says the death happened on Saturday, May 30.
On Friday, the NI Statistics and Research Agency (Nisra) published its latest figures which includes all fatalities where COVID-19 is mentioned on a death certificate.
By Friday, May 29, it had recorded 757 deaths in total.
There have been 27 recorded deaths in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area since the pandemic started in March with over 170 confirmed cases within the council boundary.
