THE Department of Health has recorded no Coronavirus-related deaths in the North of Ireland in the past 24 hours.
It is the second time since Wednesday, March 18, that a daily update from the Department of Health has recorded no new deaths in a 24 hour period.
The total number of deaths recorded by the department remains at 537.
This figure is mostly focused on hospital deaths.
Today’s update shows more than 74,857 tests have now been carried out here.
A total of 4,796 people have tested positive for Covid-19, an increase of six from Saturday.
On Friday, Nisra reported that up to Friday, May 29, there were 757 COVID-19 deaths across hospitals, care homes, hospices and residential properties.
There have been 27 deaths from Coronavirus in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area since March with over 170 confirmed cases of the deadly virus.
