The move has been approved by the Stormont Executive as it provides indicative dates for further lockdown easing in here.
Barbers and hairdressers have been shut to the public for the past three months over the Coronavirus pandemic.
At the Stormont press briefing on Thursday afternoon, First Minister Arlene Foster confirmed that hairdressers, barbers will be able reopen on Monday, July 6.
Beauty salons will be able to open on the same date.
She said that the executive has been able to further ease some lockdown restrictions as the R-number – which measures the rate of infection – is currently between 0.6 and 0.9.
Next Thursday the executive will confirm whether or not places of worship can open from 29 June.
Mrs Foster said that “guidance will be produced around capacity, singing and services such as weddings, christenings and funerals”.
Churches have already drawn up plans for reopening to parishoners for services.
At the moment churches are only open for private prayer and reflection.
