THE Department of Health has said there has been one further COVID-19-related death In the North of Ireland.
It brings its total to 551.
The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths and where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.
The latest figures on the department’s dashboard show a further six confirmed positive cases of the virus, bringing that total to 5,757.
There have been 27 confirmed deaths in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area and with 212 confirmed cases within the council boundary.
There were no further deaths in the Republic.
The UK has recorded a further 25 Coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the official total number of deaths to 43,575.
The number of deaths announced are often lower on Mondays due to reporting lags over the weekend.
