ONE Coronavirus-related death has been reported by the Department of Health in the North of Ireland in the last 24 hours.
It brings the death toll stands at 552.
The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths and where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.
The latest figures on the department’s dashboard show seven further confirmed positive case of the virus, with the total now standing at 5,768.
There have been 27 deaths from Coronavirus in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area since the pandemic erupted in March.
There have also been a total of 212 positive cases from COVID-19 within the council boundary to date.
