THERE have been no new Coronavirus related deaths in the North of Ireland recorded by the Department of Health in the last 24 hours.
That means its death toll remains at 554.
The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths and where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.
The latest figures on the department’s dashboard show the total number of confirmed positive cases of the virus now stands at 5,765, with four new positive tests recorded in the past 24 hours.
During the pandemic, a total of 116,954 individuals have been tested for COVID-19 in the North of Ireland, according to the Department of Health.
The number who have tested positive stands at 5,765.
In the last seven days, 25 people have tested positive.
A total of 12 people are currently in hospital with Coronavirus but none of them are being treated in intensive care.
There have been 27 deaths from COVID-19 in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area with 212 people testing positive for the deadly virus.
