Man in court after Derry search operation uncovers Class A drug haul

DETECTIVES have charged a 45 year old man with a number of offences including being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug and conspiracy to transfer criminal property

He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court via videolink this morning for a first remand hearing.

As is usual procedure all charges were reviewed by PPS.

The charges are in connection with an operation carried out by the PSNI’s Organised Crime Unit in Derry yesterday, Wednesday, July 8.
