THE Department of Health has said there have been no further Coronavirus-related deaths in the North of Ireland in the past 24 hours.
But a further eight people have tested positive for the virus here.
The Department’s death toll in the North of Ireland, which is mostly in hospitals, is 556 while the total number of positive cases stands at 5,876.
There have been 29 deaths from COVID-19 in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area since the outbreak of the pandemic in March.
Its total number of positive cases stands at 226 within the council boundary.
