It was back in mid March that all council-owned and operated buildings – including museums, leisure centres and civic offices – closed.
On Monday council offices on Strand Road, Derry and on the Derry Road in Strabane will reopen with a number of new measures in place.
“Screens have been erected and the public will be asked to sanitise on entering and leaving the buildings,” a council spokeswoman says.
They’ll also be asked to “adhere to an in-house management system and strict social distancing guidance” she adds.
However, the council is still encouraging people to use the council’s online systems where possible.
