Derry play park closed over vandalism

DERRY City and Strabane District Council has this evein announced that it has had to close one of its play park over an incident of vandalism.

In a twitter post, the council say: “TEMPORARY PLAY PARK CLOSURE:

“The play park at Ballyarnett Country Park will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29, as our team carry out repairs to vandalised equipment.

“Parents are asked to accompany children to play parks, ensure hands are sanitized& and not to bring food/drink into play facilities.”
