‘Mindless vandalism’ closes Derry play park

POLICE in Derry are appealin for information after a play park was forced to shut after it was vandalised last week.

Police Derry City and Strabane say: “Waterside NPT are appealing for information in relation to Criminal Damage being caused to the playpark in St Brecan’s Park on the evening of Tuesday, August 11, 2020.

“This mindless act of vandalism has resulted in the Playpark being temporarily closed until repairs are carried out.

“If you have any information in relation to his incident, please call 101 and quote CW 917-12/08/20.

“Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
