THERE has been one more Coronavirus-linked death in the North of Ireland in the past day, according to the Department of Health.
That means the death toll from the virus in here stands at 560.
The department’s daily figures are mostly comprised of hospital deaths, where a patient had previously tested positive for the virus.
Another 69 people have also tested positive for Coronavirus, taking the total number of confirmed cases here since the pandemic began to 6,964.
That’s three less than figures released on Wednesday for the previous 24 hours.
Three of the new cases have been in the Derry City and Strabane District Council in the past 24 hours.
It means there have been 31 new cases within the council boundary in the past week.
There have been 29 deaths from COVID-19 in the Derry and Strabane Council area since the pandemic erupted In March this year.
