DETECTIVES are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Co Derry during which two women were threatened and one struck on the leg with a hammer.
It was reported that at around 11.15pm on Monday night, two males entered the property at Mossvale Park in in the Ballysally area of Coleraine.
They threatened two women who were inside.
One of the women was struck on the leg with a hammer.
The males also smashed a window and three phones before fleeing.
Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have noticed the males, one of whom is described as wearing a navy Addidas hoody.
