Said the Foyle MP: “The Community Crisis Intervention Service has saved lives in the North West.
“People in need of immediate help have received dedicated and compassionate support in very difficult circumstances thanks to the powerful work of staff and volunteers here.
“I am delighted that the Health Minister has made an additional allocation that will allow the service to continue to help people in real need in the North West.
“This will make a real difference in Derry and far beyond.
“It’s so important that we create sustainable long term funding for projects which have demonstrated their worth.
“It’s no exaggeration to say that people are alive today because of this service and we need to do everything we can to protect it.”
