Sinn Fein Education spokesperson Karen Mullan

SINN Féin’s Education spokesperson Karen Mullan has encouraged people to respond positively to a consultation on bringing allied health science courses to Magee from the Ulster University at Jordansotown.

Said the Foyle MLA: “Attracting allied health science courses to Magee to augment the new Graduate Entry Medical School is essential.

“It would provide more opportunities for students and enhance the number of courses at Magee.

“There is currently a consultation on moving the courses from Jordanstown to Magee.

“I would encourage people to take part, make their views known and call for the allied health sciences course to be moved to Magee.

“This would assist the wider expansion of Magee and help the economic regeneration of the north west.”
