Said Cllr Cusack: “The plans and design for a high spec community hub and crèche facility on the current Surestart site on the Ringfort Road Hazelbank, will bring a much needed boost to the residents of this area.
“Servicing a large mix of social and private housing with many young families, this new Council project will no doubt be a wonderful centre which everyone in the community can enjoy and benefit from.
“The plans show a stunning modern circular design comprising of two elements, a crèche with internal play area and offices and a community its hub with communal room, offices, computer and health suites as well as learning zones, offices and kitchen.
“I would like to commend the architects, Council officers and of course those on the planning committee for helping to take this project to the next level.’’
