Two men, both aged 43, have been arrested ovee shooting of a vulnerable woman in her home on Bushmills Road, Coleraine on Monday, October 5.
The pair were detained in Coleraine under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act.
They have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station in Belfast for questioning.
Detectives believe the North Antrim UDA was behind the reckless gun attack.
The victim of the attack, Sally Cummins, sustained a gunshot wound to the head in the attack.
The grandmother had been sleeping in a chair downstairs due to her various health problems when she was shot in the head by one of the many bullets fired at the house by a gang of three men armed with two weapons
Her son, Russell, was also injured in the shooting.
This week the PSNI released CCTV footage of two suspects in their probe.
