A 21 year old man arrested in Derry yesterday as part of an investigation into the activities of the New IRA has been released following questioning.
Police say the investigation by detectives from its Terrorist Investigation Unit is ongoing.
He was detained under section 41 of the Terrorim Act at an address in the Brandywell area.
A mobile phone and a notebook were seized as part of the investigation.
