A 33 year old man has been charged with bombmaking offences as part of a police investigation into the terrorist activites of the UDA in Derry.
On Friday night hee was charged with three counts of possession of explosives with intent to endanger life.
He was further charged with three counts of making explosives with intent to endanger life.
The suspect is due to appear via videolink at Dungannon Magistrates Court on Saturday, December 12, for a first remanding hearing.
As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charges are in relation to arrests by Detectives in Derry City and Strabane District on Wednesday, December 9 in the Waterside area of the city.
A 46-year-old man also arrested over the investigation into UDA pipe bomb attacks in the city was released from custody on Thursday.
