Karen Mullan said: “We arranged a meeting with Choice Housing to hear their plans about how they are going to secure the Nazareth House site on Bishop Street over the Christmas period and requested that the surrounding area is cleaned up.
“I’m delighted that the contractor has agreed to clean the road and pavements around the site before Christmas.
“We have asked the housing association and the contractor to ensure that the site is secure over Christmas to prevent any access to it, and called for further clean ups to take place in the New Year.”
