New High Sheriff for Derry and Strabane council

THE new High Sheriff has been installed for Derry City and Strabane District Council.

She is Linda Heaney.

Mayor Brian Tierney tweeted: “Good luck and congratulations to Linda Heaney as she begins her tenure as High Sheriff of Londonderry

“Delighted to make a presentation to her outside the Guildhall where Lord Lieutenant of the County Dr Angela Garvey and outgoing High Sheriff Richard Doherty were in attendance.”
