THE Department of Health has reported a further 759 more cases in the North of Ireland in the last 24 hours.
There have been a further 16 deaths (one outside the current reporting period) from the deadly virus bringing the death toll, mostly in hospitals across the North, to 1,476.
None of those deaths have been recorded in the Derry and Strabane District Council area.
In the past week, the Department has recorded 9,591 new cases of Coronavirus.
There has been a further 54 positive cases in the Derry City and Strabane District Council in the past 24 hours.
Within the past week there have been a further 639 COVID-19 cases.
That means that since the pandemic started in March there have now been 10,052 positive cases within the council boundary.
The Department has now recorded a total of 106 coronavirus deaths within the Derry and Strabane council area to date.
Bed occupancy across all hospitals is now down to 97 per cent.
There are currently 736 patients in hospital with Coronavirus, with 52 patients currently in intensive care and 37 patients who are on ventilators.
A total of 150 care homes are dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak with a further 436 concluded Coronavirus outbreaks in care homes.
