THE Department of Health has reported a further 1,205 more cases in the North of Ireland in the last 24 hours.
There have been a further 22 deaths (four outside the current reporting period) from the deadly virus bringing the death toll, mostly in hospitals across the North, to 1,498.
None of those deaths have been recorded in the Derry and Strabane District Council area.
In the past week, the Department has recorded 8,802 new cases of Coronavirus.
There has been a further 68 positive cases in the Derry City and Strabane District Council in the past 24 hours, a rise of 14 on figures for Sunday.
Within the past week there have been a further 546 COVID-19 cases.
That means that since the pandemic started in March there have now been 10,120 positive cases within the council boundary.
The Department has now recorded a total of 106 coronavirus deaths within the Derry and Strabane council area to date.
Bed occupancy across all hospitals is up to 99 per cent.
There are currently 785 patients in hospital with Coronavirus, with 55 patients currently in intensive care and 38 patients who are on ventilators.
A total of 149 care homes are dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak with a further 437 concluded Coronavirus outbreaks in care homes.
