Sinn Fein councillor Sandra Duffy

SINN Féin Councillor Sandra Duffy has welcomed the news that a £200,000 street lighting upgrade scheme in Moss Park has commenced.

Councillor Duffy said: “Residents in Moss Park will welcome the news that a £200,000 street lighting upgrade scheme is underway.

“This scheme involves the replacement of the existing lights with a new LED lighting system and includes a full replacement of all underground cables and columns.

!When finished it will effectively renew the entire park’s street lighting system.

“Hopefully disruption will be kept to a minimum and I would ask residents to understand why any restrictions are put in place during this time.”
