THE Department of Health has announced a further 412 more cases in the North of Ireland in the last 24 hours.
That’s a fall of 92 cases on the previous day.
There have been a further 10 deaths (six outside the current reporting period) from the deadly virus bringing the death toll, mostly in hospitals across the North, to 1,899.
None of these latest deaths have been recorded in the Derry City and Strabane District Council area.
In the past week, the Department has recorded 3,205 new cases of Coronavirus.
There has been a further 24 positive cases in the Derry City and Strabane District Council in the past 24 hours, a fall of six for figures reported for Tuesday.
Within the past week there have been a further 148 COVID-19 cases in the Derry and Strabane area.
That means that since the pandemic started in March there have now been 10,767 positive cases within the council boundary.
The Department has now recorded a total of 126 coronavirus deaths within the Derry and Strabane council area to date.
Bed occupancy across all hospitals is now at 95 per cent.
There are currently 671 patients in hospital with Coronavirus, with 68 patients currently in intensive care and 63 patients who are on ventilators.
A total of 99 care homes are dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak with a further 525 concluded Coronavirus outbreaks in care homes.
