POLICE are urging people in Derry to be vigilant over suspicious objects.
The advice relates to the Ballyarnett area of the city.
People living their who come across or notice any suspicious objects in the Racecourse Road/Paddock Lane area are advised not to touch them.
It follows a report to police that a device had been left in the area.
A Police Derry City and Strabane spokesperson said: “Officers are currently making a number of enquiries into the report.
“We would urge anyone who sees anything suspicious or out of the ordinary in the area contact police by calling 101.”
