POLICE say the Skeoge Link Road in Derry has reopened following a search operation in the area.
Nothing untoward was found during the searches.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “We would like to thank the community for their patience and understanding while our officers worked to ensure their safety.”
Dissident republican group Arm na Poblachta claimed at the start of the week that it had left a device in the Ballyarnett area which failed to explode.
SDLP leader Colum Eastwood said the incident had caused “more disruption and inconvenience for people for the third time this week”.
“Those responsible need to wise up and stop putting communities on edge,” the Foyle MP said.
