A 41-year-old man has been charged with two counts of interference with vehicles, possession of a Class B controlled drug, criminal damage and attempted criminal damage.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, March 31 for a first remand heearing.
The charges are in relation to the report of vehicles being tampered with in the Strand Road area of Derry on Thursday, March 4.
Police responded just before midnight on Thursday to reports of criminal damage to cars.
While at the scene officers received a further report from a woman regarding damage caused to her car with a bottle.
The 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Strand Road police station for questioning.
