DETECTIVES investigating an aggravated burglary in Derry have charged a man to court
Police were called to an incident at a house on Spencer Road on Sunday evening, March 28, where the occupants had disarmed a man who was carrying a knife.
He fled the scene but was later arrested by police.
A 31-year-old man has now been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, and threats to kill.
He is due to appear at Derry Magistrates’ Court this morning, Tuesday, March 30, for a first remand hearing.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
